Induna
formed in the early months of 2003. Tom, Simon and Geoff
met through previous bands and venues in their native Guildford,
Chris and Adam were found after a brief yet fruitful search.
Induna was born. They set out on their mission to create a band
that would battle the evil masked in the guise of manufactured
music.
When it comes to influences Induna let their music do the talking
taking great pride in their combined ability to write songs. They are
formed of a traditional style line up yet play distinctive and
inventive rock songs.
Having already played a number of venues in London, Surrey and
the South of England the band feel they are starting to find their
live feet. But as always they want more.
“Without sounding pompous or arrogant, we just want to write
interesting and innovative rock music and let as many people hear
it as possible”.
Having recently released their debut EP “Monkey box”, to critical
acclaim and storming reviews, Induna are looking forward to
playing new venues and letting fresh ears hear their songs.
Induna are a rock band. Blending their individual influences to
create an original and unique rock sound, not unlike a big,
long, pink stick of Blackpool rock with Induna written all through the
middle, only not quite as minty.
